6.2 Bone metabolism disorders

Denosumab - For prevention of osteoporotic fractures in postmenopausal women:

• All new patients should be initiated on a biosimilar product.
• Biosimilar brands approved for local use: Stoboclo (Celltrion), Jubbonti (Sandoz), Junod (Gedeon Richter)
• Patients discharged from hospital after being started on a different denosumab biosimilar (such as Zadenvi® locally) or the originator product Prolia® should be switched to the locally preferred products in line with agreed guidance.
