Darkly pigmented Iris is more resistant to pupillary dilatation and caution should be exercised to avoid over dosage. Patients should be advised not to drive for at least two hours after mydriasis.
For the treatment of painful ciliary spasm in blind eyes
Initiation will be by consultant ophthalmologists and transfer of care can be considered after a minimum of 2 months prescribing by the consultant and once the patient has shown to be benefiting from treatment.
Unit dose drops are the most cost-effective formulation.
